Ray Chevrolet Fox Lake

Ray Chevrolet started the remodel of their Fox Lake dealership in the summer of 2011 with Associated Electrical Contractors chosen to perform the electrical design and contracting work.   In addition to the replacement and addition of the exterior site lighting and showroom lighting, Ray Chevrolet also decided to retrofit the lighting in the shop and service areas with energy efficient lighting fixtures.

NIU 1st Year Residence Hall

Beginning in the spring of 2011 with a completion date of August 2012, this 1000 bed complex will be one of the newest additions to the NIU DeKalb Campus.   One of the largest jobs that AEC has been involved in this project encompasses two 5-story towers and a dining hall complete with recreational amenities.  This project involves a large variety of electrical work including: high voltage distribution, electrical wiring, telecommunications, temperature control, fire alarm, security systems and A/V systems.  AEC currently has other projects at the DeKalb campus including various Temperature Control Wiring projects and renovations to Cole Hall.

West Chicago Middle School – Phase 1

The first phase of this project started in September of 2011 and includes excavation of the jobsite, new electric services, parking lot expansion, renovation of the kitchen and serving area and getting the mobiles installed and ready for classes so that the new construction portion of Phase 1 can begin.  The next phase of the school will include new additions with a library learning center and community meeting room, a welcome area and school offices, and some new classrooms.  

Sam’s Club Remodel Addison

Sam’s Club in Addison began a large scale expansion and Renovation in December of 2011.  The project consists of sales floor expansion with all new cooler/freezers, new electrical service, new receiving docks and guest services.  Once completed the entire facility inside and out will be updated with a new appearance and equipment.  Grand opening is scheduled for late 2012.
