Mariano’s Fresh Market Vernon Hills
Completed in June 2011 Mariano’s Fresh Market is unlike any other store. Mariano’s created a neighborhood shopping environment filled with amenities like an Italian coffee shop serving authentic gelato, a wood-fired pizza oven, and sit down sushi bar; not to mention a full-service pharmacy. Key challenges on this project included short duration project schedule and wiring of various systems including temperature control, paging and refrigeration.
North Shore Academy Phase 1 & 2
Completed January 2011 a new private school building with a connecting administrative wing remodel.
Costco Wholesale Stores
Facilities completed in Algonquin, St Charles, and Mettawa, along with miscellaneous service work completed at multiple locations
Wal-Mart and Sam's Club
AEC completed new Wal-Mart Stores in Woodstock, Crystal Lake, Harvard and Round Lake. Wal-Mart remodels included St Charles, Algonquin, Zion and Rockford. Sam’s Club remodels included Crystal Lake and Evanston.
Hampshire High School
Completed in 2008 with a combined project cost near 70 Million dollars the new Hampshire High School contains 7,500,000 cubic feet under roof and includes 65 traditional classrooms, 11 musical rooms, 5 art rooms, 13 science labs, 3 business labs, 5 industrial arts rooms, 3 family and consumer science labs, 8,100 library books, 75 lunch tables, 2,500 seat competition gym, indoor track, 750 seat auditorium, 6 computer labs, 1,200 data drops, 76 miles of network cable, 48 wireless access points, and 89 cameras. 3

Cabelas Retail Hoffman Estates
Opened in 2007 with a 5 month project schedule, Cabela's Hoffman Estates, Illinois Retail Store is located at Prairie Stone Business Park in the northwest metro area of Chicago near I-90 and Route 59. The 185,000-square-foot retail showroom is an educational and entertainment attraction, featuring a décor of museum-quality animal displays, huge aquariums and trophy animals interacting in realistic re-creations of their natural habitats.
