About Associated Electrical Contractors

Associated Electric was founded in 1989 by Vern and Carl "Butch" Schnulle.  Vern and Butch combined had over forty years experience in the industry before they decided to open AEC.  Its humble beginning was in a three room office with a one car garage on Jackson St. in Woodstock.  Since then AEC has relocated twice to its current home at 319 Lamb Road.

The electrical business has been in the Schnulle family since their father owned his own electrical company many years earlier.  Butch and Vern were not the only Schnulle's in the business. They began AEC with a handful of brothers, and various nephews.  Butch and Vern also retained relationships with electrical tradesmen they had worked with in the past, these men soon became part of the company.

AEC has grown into a reliable contracting company.  Today AEC grosses approximately $25 Million in sales per year and employs an average of 120 employees.
